Howdy,

Can you believe it is already September? I hardly can. This summer has been FULL. Lots of work, lots of play. Just lots of it all. I have a bunch of photos I have taken from out and about and none of them are enough for their own story so I thought I would just throw them up here for you to enjoy. Some nice scenes from Summer. Hope yours has been just as full.

Friends from Circles Japan in town

Our friends from Circles bike shop in Nagoya stopped by. Not only is Circles our biggest dealer, but they are super cool folks who showed us an awesome time last Fall in Japan. We were really happy to have them in San Francisco for a week on their way to the MADE bike show. Most of our time was spend in the city. Lots of urban adventures and after work cruises. On Friday we hosted a great group ride with our friends at OuterShell and Calling in Sick magazine. We counted at least 70 people which I was personally really blown away by. The vibe was awesome and it was great to get to show off our little San Francisco bike scene. Here are some photos from their visit and that ride.

OBF Race

Last week was the season closer for the OBF/Swell Bicycles cyclocross race series. This is such a cool thing that happens here - a bandit cyclocross race series in parks around SF. So many folks come out to watch. I raced the first one but just watched at the second two. Always so many bike pals around, it really makes this community feel like a community and that is nice.

Mt. Tam ride with Adam and crew

Last weekend I went on a ride up Mount Tam with Adam and some pals and snapped a couple pics. Adam was on his SuperSomething and Eric showed up on his flat bar SuperSomething which is one of my favorite builds I have seen. It was a beautiful day.

River Time

I've gotten three whole trips in this Summer up to Nevada City, my new favorite place in California. It has been a great spot to ride trails and swim in the best river around. The truth is if you want really fun mountain biking and you live in San Francisco, you are only a three hour drive away. I also got a new (old) van to build out for more MTB adventures and I am excited to spend more time out on the trails. Also in that river.

Ok, thanks for looking!
Adam
