A Straight forward SuperSomething steel gravel bike build for Stephen
Building bike frames in steel is just part of a design ethos in making simple things. Not simple as in limited, but simple in a way where as many of the things that can go wrong are removed without sacrificing performance and improving it where we can.
This SuperSomething gravel bike frame is built up with our stock Rival mechanical build that is available on the web store now. This kit features the 1x11 speed Rival drivetrain which I have run on many of my personal bikes over the last eight or ten years. It shifts awesome and is low maintenance, what more could you want? For brakes we are running the PAUL Klampers which really are my favorite brake. They have almost all the power and modulation of most hydraulic brakes and are virtually maintenance free. So good.
This build was topped off with our Titanium Seatpost and Titanium Bottle cages, my favorite Astral outbacks on a pair of White Industries hubs and the wonderer bar from SimWorks.
This is such a sweet bike that is going to be fun and reliable and low maintenance for such a long time to come and they are available now for $6000, that is pretty cool!
