D's Ti SuperSomething Gravel Bike
This titanium gravel bike, all decked out in SRAM wireless shifting with X0 Eagle Transmission and Red AXS shifters, is one of the first builds from the first batch of Ti SuperSomethings. You might spot this sleek all-road machine living its best life with its owner D in the Midwest.

The Titanium SuperSomething frame comes with a fixed UDH dropout and a redesigned chainstay yoke for more clearance. D's bike is a size Small – you'll notice that the Ti bikes use XS-XL sizing, rather than 48cm-60cm sizing. After fitting a couple hundred people on bikes, we found the numbers to be more confusing than helpful, so we switched to letters. The next batch of steel SuperSomethings will follow suit.
Anyway, back to the 12-speed wireless drivetrain: D wanted a bike with plenty of gear range for all-day adventures, and it just doesn't get any better than the latest and greatest from SRAM. The new hood shape of Red AXS shifters is so cozy and ergo. We've built up a bunch of bikes with SRAM Transmission, and we love the durability and ease of use that wireless electronic shifting provides.

D's titanium gravel bike is built up with our standard Sklar Ti seatpost, Sklar Ti bottle cages, and our Super Stem Thing. The dynamo-powered front and rear lights are a classy and super-utilitarian touch, with a SON 28 front hub wired to SON lights front and rear. Dynamo lights are great if you're like me and always forget to charge your batteries.

The Teravail Cannonball 700 x 47mm tires are my personal top pick for riding on road and hard-pack dirt trails; they're zippy on pavement, with a tight center tread, and offer a good amount of grip offroad when they're run at lower pressures. I recommend starting at 32 psi in the front and 35 psi in the rear and adjusting from there, according to rider weight and what kind of riding you're doing. At 180 lbs, I tend to run 28 psi front and 30 psi rear for the rough roads and buff trails in the Bay Area.
We love building up custom bikes that are made to be functional everyday rigs, and this one is set up nicely to handle anything the Midwest has to offer!

Hi JDB, The geo is different from the steel frames. Steel frames will see these same changes when v2 lands later this year. Top tube curve is the same and thanks! I built a lot of Titanium frames when I was still making custom bikes but it is really cool to be able to offer them in production.
Cheers!

Awesome bike. Is the geometry of the these new Titanium frames different from the steel frames? Did you change the curve of the top tube? Again, great bike. Very cool you are using Ti now.
