In the early days of Sklar Bikes, Adam shared a space with Alter Cycles of Bozeman, Montana. Alter is one of those rare bicycle shops that really feels like a clubhouse where everyone's welcome. The first time I visited Adam, I met Mason Griffin, owner of Alter, and got to know her over the course of the next few years as our paths crossed and we rode mountain bikes together. Mason is a ripping rider with a sly sense of humor and a heart of gold. Alter is the first shop to carry Sklar Bikes, and it's a pleasure to introduce them to you in our next installment of Take Me to Your Dealer.
