Christopher’s Tall Tale mountain bike with SRAM GX Transmission

The latest build out of the shop is this super clean Tall Tale for Christopher. The frame is our Tall Tale hardtail designed around a 140mm fork and for the build Christopher chose the off-the-shelf GX Transmission build kit with an upgrade to the Helm MKII fork from Cane Creek, which is one of the best mountain bike forks I have ridden.

This build is super light and clean, with no cables for shifting or a dropper thanks to the SRAM Reverb wireless dropper post. Christopher is in Florida, so we went with the Teravail Honcho 2.6” tires which are a nice all-arounder and also great for sandy terrain. Other fun details are the Sklar Titanium bottle cages that come stock with each complete build and the Boxcar stem from PAUL that we are also doing on all the builds. A nice stem is icing on the cake for a nice build.
